At Lead we provide accessible face-to-face counselling to everyone (aged 5 and above), regardless of their background, abilities, level of understanding or communication skills. I use many creative resources and tools to aid communication, enhance the relationship and deepen the level of therapeutic benefits.
Welcome to Lead Inclusive Counselling. It isn’t easy to ask for help for yourself or others, well done for taking the first step to find out more. My name is Selina Allen. I am a fully qualified counsellor with many years of experience working with a diverse range of people in various settings. Counselling is an important, positive choice where you will be offered non-judgemental time to explore your thoughts and feelings in a confidential, supportive, therapeutic environment.
I work from an integrative perspective which means that I use various different therapeutic approaches depending on the issues you’re dealing with and what works best for you. Sessions last 50 minutes and are usually weekly or fortnightly. I offer both short-term and long-term counselling. Everyone’s counselling journey is unique, I will tailor my approach to suit your needs. I am registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and professionally accredited by National Counselling Society (NCS), the leading professional bodies for counselling in the UK.
Aside my 1:1 counselling, I also offer a range of training workshops and group work within the Learning Disability field. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you require any more information.
